Bamford

Join us at our festival themed weekend at Bamford Recreational Ground on the 30th June to the 2nd July 2017. 

We will be having music, face painting, games and fun for all the family. 

We will also be having a communal BBQ so bring along your equipment and something to cook.  

Also during the weekend our Youth Leaders will be having an introduction to what the CCY is all about so if you have children around youth age come along with them and find out more about what they get up to!

Clithero Club Site

We have 20 places at the Clithero Club Site reserved at £11 pun (inc elec) which is a steal on normal club prices.
 
It is a requirement from the HQ that we book the required number of pitches by Sunday 25th June.
 
Don’t miss out, it is a lovely site.  If you want to go please get in touch with John Inman ASAP

Cadac competition at Settle

This year at the Settle weekend on the weekend of the 9th June we will holding the heats for the National Cadac Cook competition.

If you think you are king or queen of the BBQ please email our entertainments officer Chris Duffy on duffy0009@gmail.com and he will send you an entry form and all the details you need.

Winner of the heats will win a Cadac and be entered into the final held at the NFOL.

Entries need to be in by 26th May please.

Easter meet – Diary of Events

Friday 14th April

Visit our Admin marquee and enjoy a welcome drink and try your luck on our Tombola. Bacon and sausage butties will be on sale over the lunchtime period for a small charge.
We will be selling ‘Vehicles’ (£3 each) for the race night on Saturday evening. Before each race. Owners will be invited into the ‘Wacky Races Enclosure’, to have a drink of bubbly.
The number of Vehicles available to buy, are limited, so don’t miss out on owning one. if only for an evening!
Prizes for the winning owner and champion driver.
Raffle tickets will also be on sale.
Enjoy the rest of the day settling in and perhaps strolling into York.

Saturday 15th April

Admin Tent opens at 10.00 – 11a.m. for the Decorated Egg workshop. Anyone who would like to decorate a hard boiled egg
This year’s theme is ‘Transport’ Please bring your own eggs.

7.30– 11.00 p.m. in the Ebor Suite, Racecourse Building
Wacky Races Championship Race night.
Everyone will get the chance to be a champion. All races are age set except the final which is for the winners of the previous races.
Each bet is only 20p, so you can ‘edge your bets’ and bet on more than one! Please enter into this fun filled event. Half of the bets will go into our youth funds, and the other paid out in winnings! During this evening your amazing outfits will be judged.
Please bring your own drinks and supper.

Sunday 16th April

10.00 a.m. Bring your decorated eggs to the admin tent for judging.
Raffle tickets will be on sale again and drawn this evening.
Judging of your Easter Bonnet followed by traditional action packed games for all the family. Please bring your own eggs – no hard boiled eggs.
Burgers will be on sale over the lunchtime period for a small charge.

6.30 p.m.- 7.30 p.m. Children’s entertainment in the Racecourse building (Ebor Suite)
While these games etc are taking place, bingo tickets and raffle tickets will be on sale
7.30 p.m. – 8.30 pm. Bingo followed by raffle draw.
8.30 pm – 11.00 pm Disco dancing. Please bring your own drinks and supper.

Monday 17th April

You may wish to spend your time with us relaxing or exploring the historic city of York with it’s many attractions. It’s only a 20 minute walk along the riverbank.

Tues 18th April

Site closes 2.00 p.m prompt.

Huddersfield DA Easter Meet

Hi everyone, Chris Duffy, entertainments officer has confirmed that the fancy dress theme for this years social on the Saturday night of our Easter meet is Wacky Races/ transport related. This could be anything from Penelope Pitstop, Dick Dastardly or a captain of a ship.

He has also asked if anyone can donate anything for the tombola?
If you have anything, bring it along to a weekend meet and hand it to a committee member.

There are still a few places left, so please book with our booking officer John Inman now to avoid disappointment.

Day 3- 30th December 2016

11.00 am coffee morning followed by:

Games Day

The games include: – carpet bowls, bar skittles, darts (the magnetic kind) dominoes, and shuffle board.

A light lunch will be provided & tea and coffee will be available all day.

Evening: – Finals of the games

Day 4- New Year’s Eve

11.00 am Coffee morning followed by:-

“Dressing the room” ready for the New Year’s Eve Party.

8.00pm till late-It’s Party time!

Dress to Impress: – White & Black dress theme (Optional)

Day 5- New Year’s Day

7.30 p.m. – free and easy in ‘The Venue’

Christmas Shopping Meet ’16

HDA’s next meet is the Christmas shopping meet in York.
This is from the 25th-27th November.

For that have booked, there is loads to do in york at this time of year including the St. Nicholas Fair.
